North Central Provincial Ministry of Health to evaluate the progress of all new and ongoing development projects scheduled to be implemented in 2026 by the departments operating under the Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was chaired by the Secretary to the North Central Provincial Ministry of Health, Mrs. R.M.D.P. Pushpakumari. Participants included medical officers, ministry directors, representatives from the Provincial Director of Health Services Office, engineering officers, and officials from the finance and planning divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the progress of several key sectors, including hospital development activities approved for 2026, construction of new buildings, strengthening of primary healthcare services, and community health projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Secretary Mrs. R.M.D.P. Pushpakumari stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDevelopment in the health sector directly contributes to improving the quality of life of the people. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every official to ensure that planned projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe and according to the required standards.
